Sweet new ride....

Well, we've truly been too busy lately to get many pictures, but here are a few of Leo's new bike.  It has parental steering capabilities, a "secret compartment" on the back, and a little bell on the handlebars.  His helmet is pretty big, but we don't go very fast these days.  He had a great time putting it together with Kevin and though he has yet to figure out how to pedal, he enjoys ringing his bell as he coasts.  Mostly he likes to push it!  Happy early Birthday, little guy.....

We had a fun parade in town that Leo really enjoyed for the 4th, and while he was sleeping away in his bed we sat outside in the circle and watched the fireworks which could be seen pretty well from our street.

Today we went to the zoo and I, for the first time, let him into the petting area.  Sometimes you never know how "pushy" goats can be and how exploratory little fingers can be, but Leo had a great time brushing these very tame, laid-back goats.  He especially thought their poop was fascinating, and ran around yelling with glee "Yucky Poop!".  We then headed to Free Lunch in the Park, a service I have only ever seen in Idaho where all children receive a free lunch, Monday through Friday, in select parks around town, sponsored by the state through the schools.

We are  continuing to enjoy great summer weather and spend much time outdoors.  The heat is not too hot and the air dry, and being farther north the sun stays out late, so we definitely take advantage!  Hotel Welsh  is always open for visitors, and we're close to Yellowstone, too, so y'all keep that in mind.  (See, I still have a bit of southern-ness!
And I make great sweet tea, too.)  We look forward to our visitors next week and hope they enjoy our quaint little town.

Looks like Kevin put it together in his work clothes! Addison is finally starting to get the hang of pedeling. Although her steering needs some work. She either looks at her feet, or looks around and not in front of her. The attention span of her father!!
