Here are some pics from the Fourth. the super cute outfits were made by Grandma. We had a fun day at the parade, where M let Claire hold her for a bit.....this was great! Then the Kosmickis came over for burgers and a swim. I have to say, we had some really wacky weather that day, was nice all day until the evening when it started to rain, then pour, then hail. This did not hamper the fireworks though and while we did not venture out to see them, we did watch them from our street, all of us but M, who was sleeping peacefully. L really liked watching them this year, though I wonder how he would have done close up. Abby and Taylor were a mess as always, poor babies. What's really got me feeling patriotic lately is watching the John Adams series based on David McCullough's book. This is a great telling of what went in to making our country our own.
