We had not one but two visits on Santa's lap this year, along with a couple more chats with Santa at the mall. Both kiddos were quite chatty with the jolly old man and ran to him with warm hugs, absolutely no fear. While Santa was a pretty hot topic this year, along with his helper elf, Henry, who visited our house each day to check the kids' behavior, we shared many stories about Jesus as well and sang Happy Birthday to him each night as we blew out the advent candles.
