We made our annual trip to NE for the girls' birthday party, and once again the cousins had a blast together. We last saw them in May and it amazes me how quickly they all change. I had so much fun snuggling with each one of my nieces and learning more about their personalities.
Addison is now in kindergarten and that along with a new haircut make her seem so grown up. We had the privilege of joining her at school for lunch and recess one day, what a treat! Olivia has grown even more smart and doesn't miss a thing. She loves purple and tinker bell and never stops asking "why?". Ella is mischievious and knows this, and knows how to make herself heard in such a busy household. She also calls me Jenna, which may stick forever and won't bother me one bit.
Our kids also underwent some changes during our week stay there. Madeline got to indulge into the world of princesses, dress up, and all things girly. She plays mainly with boys here at home. Ever since we got home she has been talking about barbies and princesses, and wants a princess party. Leo learned how to use skates almost by himself, and had success in riding a bike with no training wheels. I thought we'd try taking his training wheels off NEXT summer, but he hopped on Livi's bike and away he went, surprising us all.
