He started her day by telling Daddy to make some pancakes. As Daddy started, he realized that he didn't have enough eggs, and that was the last ingredient. He wanted to ask Leo what to do, but Leo had decided that he needed to rest.
After nap time, we decided to go to church, then came home and Mommy and Leo took a picture in the back yard. They are sitting on the bench that Grammy got for us several years ago. Aren't we both so adorableAfter napping again, Leo decided that it was time to make Mommy's present. He told Daddy that he should by a stepping stone and that every Mother's Day, Leo and Mommy and all of her other kids are going to make hand imprints. Unfortunately, Leo likes to grab things with his hand and to prevent eating cement we just used his foot.
What a happy family!!!
After dinner; Daddy, Mommy and Leo all went to get ice cream for dessert. Mommy forgot that she can't eat chocolate or she gets headaches and went ahead and ordered chocolate. Crazy mommy. Here are a couple of more pictures from our day for everyone to enjoy. We miss you all.
Yuck, girl cooties. At least they are from Mommy.

Hey Little Buddy, you are getting soooo big. I can't believe how fast you are growing and trying out your new found talents. You seem to be keeping mommy and daddy on their toes, keep up the good work :-) It will be so fun to see you with your cousins, Addison and Olivia. You three will have so much fun. It will be about 7 months and you all have changed and grown so much.
I love you and miss you so much, tell mommy & daddy that too.

It's fun to hear about all the ways Michael Leo has changed your life. The inner struggles of do it this way or that way, what should the consequence be, etc. will go on and on; especially with the first one. I see you growing into your role of mommy so comfortably. I'm glad you had a wonderful Mother's Day. The idea about setting handprints every Mother's Day is awesome. Glad Michael Leo came up with the idea. God had wonderful things in store for you and Kevin when the attorney called your house on October 12th. It's been a long wait and you are reaping the rewards now. Preserve in your mind (and on the camera and print)every moment that you can. The moments are fleeting and before you know it your children will be grown.

Jen, that is a great picture of you and Leo on Mother's Day. He looks so peaceful sleeping. Now if you ever wake up with toliet paper all of you, remember it's just a phase he'll grow out of it. :) love ya Terri
