2009 is the year of the Ox, and Ox are known for their great inner strength and abundant creativity. We celebrated the New Year with other families in the area who have also adopted from China with a party at our house. We met some wonderful families and it's been great to share our stories with one another. We are all hopeful to keep this going so our daughters will know one another as they grow. Unfortunately, I have no pictures as I was too busy hosting to get some, but hopefully next time. Madeline did great with all the commotion and was fed dinner by two older girls, didn't miss mommy at all! Leo provided entertainment by just being himself, which always gets a laugh, and he proudly introduced his new sister to our visitors. And thanks to our Bowden friends, we had great decorations for the celebration, even a dragon!

I would think getting together like this would be helpful to all. It was nice of you to host such a party....
